Thank you everyone who contributed to our 2017 Femili PNG Canberra Running Festival fundraising campaign. Our fundraising target was $20,000, and we made it – raising $21,785.
On 6th October 2016, Australian National University’s oldest residential college, Bruce Hall, ran a mock beauty pageant to raise money for Femili PNG. The aim of the event was to diminish stereotypes on women’s physical appearance through a male-only-contestant beauty pageant with female judges and host.
Australian Defence Force soldiers stationed in Lae for a six-week training exercise have donated K2,300 to Femili PNG. The members of the 3rd Combat Engineering Regiment (3 CER), who were participating in Exercise Puk Puk at Igam Barracks, raised the money through several activities.
