Femili PNG provides training and support to other organisations that support survivors of family and sexual violence (FSV).
Through this training and support, Femili PNG aims to empower its partners and stakeholders in the important work they are doing in helping survivors access informed care no matter where they are.
This helps these organisations with their important work, and helps survivors to access informed care, no matter where they are.
Femili PNG provides training on:
- Trauma-informed care
- Case management
- FSV sensitisation and related laws
Over the years, we have provided trainings to many service providers, organisations, churches, village court magistrates and leaders in the communities across Papua New Guinea.
We also provide support to partners to ensure that they have the resources to do their work. Since our establishment, we have assisted our partners by:
- Providing IT equipment, like computers and printers to service providers like the FSVU.
- Donating PPE equipment to organisations who work with survivors
- Contributing food and supplies to safe houses
