Femili PNG has conducted its first client satisfaction survey.

The survey, conducted in 2016-17 of 39 randomly-selected clients, found that most clients receive three or four services from Femili PNG. The most popular is counselling, followed by transport, and support to obtain legal, medical and police services.

95% of clients said that they were satisfied with Femili PNG’s services, and 79% said that they were satisfied with service partners more generally. The main complaint of clients concerned delays in getting services. As one client said: “I wish to recommend that when women come, they should receive the services they need without delay. Delaying means they are perpetrated again and again.”

Femili PNG Case Work Manager Evan Bieso said: “It is important for Femili PNG to get feedback from our clients. We are glad that with our service partners we can provide a good service. We are working hard with partners to ensure that survivors are attended appropriately and as much as possible in a timely manner.”
