Reporting, Investigating and Prosecuting Family and Sexual Violence Offences in Papua New Guinea was released this month and outlines the increasing trend of reports of violence and the systemic challenges that survivors face when engaging with institutions, such as the legal system or police.
Femili PNG’s casework was noted in the report as contributing to an overall improvement in referral networks for survivors to utilise in Port Moresby and Lae.
