In the lead-up to Christmas, we’re running an online auction through AllBids.com.au to raise funds for Femili PNG.
With gift packs, books, wine, hampers, vouchers and many other items on offer, you’re sure to find a Christmas present to suit all family and friends. It is the gift that gives twice –any funds raised from the auction will go to Femili PNG’s work in assisting survivors of family and sexual violence in Papua New Guinea.
To see all items on offer, visit our AllBids Auction Page. The auction closes on the evening of 9 December.
One of our major donors to the auction is Iori Japanese Restaurant in Canberra City. Iori provides an enjoyable, relaxing and authentic dining atmosphere and offers a range of menu items, from traditional Japanese dishes, hot pot courses, sushi and sashimi to modern Japanese cuisine.
For anyone who loves Japanese cuisine, Iori’s generous donation to the auction has included saké, premium short grain rice, top quality mayonnaise, miso and soy sauce, and dining vouchers for the restaurant.
The donation to Femili PNG was made by Iori’s Restaurant Manager Mizuki Endo and Owner Mamoru Aizawa. Mr Aizawa said of their contribution, “We are pleased to provide these auction items, especially since the funds raised will be used to help break the cycle of violence which you see in many households around the world.”
In appreciation of Iori’s generous donation, we have compiled a gallery of images from their restaurant below.
