Femili PNG has received a generous donation of laptops from ExxonMobil PNG, a contribution that will enhance the organisation’s capacity to support survivors of family and sexual violence (FSV) across Papua New Guinea.
The handover ceremony took place on Friday, 24 July 2026, at ExxonMobil PNG’s headquarters in Port Moresby. Representing ExxonMobil PNG were Ms Belinda Gurra, Planning and Contributions Manager; Ms Lavina Oli, Planning and Contributions Advisor; and Ms Gabriella Gule, IT Analyst.
The laptops were received on behalf of Femili PNG by Logistics Officer Mr Stanley Kila and Communications Officer Mr Pius Ronny.
Speaking during the handover, Ms Gurra said ExxonMobil PNG recognises the important role Femili PNG plays in supporting vulnerable Papua New Guineans and assisting survivors of family and sexual violence. She further stated that the company is pleased to contribute to Femili PNG’s work and support the organisation’s efforts to provide essential services to those who need them most.
Responding on behalf of Femili PNG, Mr Ronny expressed gratitude for ExxonMobil PNG’s continued support and acknowledged the positive impact the donation will have on the organisation’s operations.
“We sincerely thank ExxonMobil PNG for this valuable contribution. These laptops will directly support our caseworkers and staff, enabling them to manage cases more efficiently and continue delivering quality services to survivors of family and sexual violence,” Mr Ronny said.
The donation reflects the ongoing partnership between the private sector and community-based organisations working to address family and sexual violence in Papua New Guinea.
Femili PNG operates Case Management Centres and provides case management, counselling, and referral services for survivors of family and sexual violence in Port Moresby, Lae, and Goroka.
As demand for its services continues to grow, Femili PNG welcomes support from corporate partners and stakeholders who share its commitment to delivering timely, survivor-centred assistance to individuals and families affected by violence across Papua New Guinea.
